my bro's first month

my bro finally reach his first month
but the price is a big one..
for all the cakes and whatever,
a total of 4 bigs cakes,
and 70 over 10bucks vouchers to all relatives and colleagues and friends..
imagine..
close to $1k worth of cakes and vouchers..
I'm getting dizzy...

on 22nd Oct my mum called out of nowhere..
asking both my sis n I to take leave so as to help my auntie prepare the offerings to ancestors..
luckily I still have the Hari Raya time off..
and told my TL that I'll not be in office on the 23rd..

so early in the morning my auntie n her children with my sis, dad and me went to my ah gong's hse first to prepare the offerings
then my bro came at about noon..
dad have to carry my brother and "show" our ancestors how he look like..
after that seek their approval or something..
mum was saying our ancestors keep laughing at my dad because he doesnt know how to sweet talk..
haha
anyway,
after that I napped a while..
until they decided to eat the "blessed" cakes..
the durian cake damned nice lo..
hehe
going to buy more when I bo liaoz..
but the coffee cake was disappointing..
din have the strawberry cake..

then after that went for a little shopping..
a very short one..
with my brother being carried around by my sis..
i certainly look forward to bring him out..
=)

yesterday my chinese b'dae..
grandma boiled 2 eggs
since I din want to have eggs,
i de-shell it and bring it to sis n grandma
dad's not ard (we share the same chinese b'dae) and mum cannot eat..

anyway,
going back to work..ciaoz~
